The Lawn Inspector is run by Katy and Russel Coopey.  Both  ex police officers, they shared a love of gardening and wanted to start a business which would provide them with a rich, rewarding  and healthy second career.  They were inspired by another police officer who started a similar business in the Essex area which was thriving.  The key attributes of a police officer - professionalism, reliability, hard work, transparency and good communication all  helped to sow the seeds of The Lawn Inspector and continue to help the business grow. 

 

Katy and Russel were trained by Richard Salmon, the Head of the UK Lawn Association, who mentored and  taught them the tools of the trade.   They are  both trained in the use of pesticides and hold LANTRA certificates.  They are members of the UK Lawn Association, a group who share good practice and the latest techniques.
